About the ministry

The Nurse Guild is one of the oldest established and striving ministries in the church formed in 1949 under the guidance of the late BJ Miller. Our group is made up of Air Force and Army Veterans, Retired Nurses and Medical Assistants; We also have Current Nurses and VA personnel. We all perform CPR and are current in our certification. We are Christ’s Servants.

You can look for us giving out Kleenex, water or comforting a family member as a loved one has transitioned home at a funeral. We take great pride in carrying the anointed oil on Sundays because we all need to be blessed in the world we live in today.

We work with dignity in the community. We adopt 2-3 schools a year and provide money or donations so the young people will succeed.
