1 Chronicles 4:9-10 NKJ

9     Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.”

10   And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Psalm 31:8 NKJ – And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

Psalm 31:8 GNV – You have not let my enemies capture me; you have given me freedom to go where I wish.

Nehemiah 7:63-64 NKJ63 and of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Koz, the sons of Barzillai, who took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by their name. 64 These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but it was not found; therefore they were excluded from the priesthood as defiled.
